Seven Dandelions offers a recovering service for tired shades in need of a facelift. We can strip old shades, restore rings when necessary, build a new template and reconstruct your shade with either a stylish new fabric from our range, or one that you supply yourself. Seven Dandelions offers a recovering service for old shades, which involves disassembling shade, stripping and restoring rings (where possible), constructing a new template and fabricating a new shade. You can select one of the beautiful fabrics from our current range, or opt to supply your own.

Occasionally we are presented with old shades that are fairly dilapidated, or in some case, beyond help, in which case it is easier and more cost-effective to buy a completely new shade. We also find that a lot of our clients who are set on replacing their shade with an exact replica are often pleasantly surprised when we try a new shape or size shade on their old base. So be adventurous – don’t be afraid to make a change!

*(Please note that we do not recover bell, Chinese lantern or any other curved shape shades, only straight sides ie drum or empire.)
